P3, long-term owner and developer of warehouse properties in Europe, has signed a lease contract with InPost for over 6,150 sqm of warehouse and office space at the P3 Piotrków park. The warehouse will be intended for providing its new logistics service called InPost Fulfillment, directed at e-commerce clients.
This is yet another contract signed between the two companies over the past months. At the beginning of October, the extension of the central sorting facility for InPost at Park P3 Piotrków was completed, thanks to which the surface area increased by 3,109 sqm, totalling 18,400 sqm. The extension was organised so as not to disrupt the operations already carried out at the facility. The general contractor for the extension of the facility was Atlas Ward Polska.
Bartłomiej Hofman, Managing Director P3 Logistic Parks in Poland, said: “I’m thrilled that once again we have successfully managed to meet the expectations of our long-time partner, providing InPost with the best conditions for development, this time round, for a completely new field of their business. Despite the short deadline of just four months, we completed the expansion of the central sorting facility for InPost for more than two weeks in advance. I’m convinced that P3 Piotrków’s excellent Central Poland location, which has for years been appreciated by companies running their country-wide logistics operations from here, will also produce the desired effects in this case, too.”
InPost Fulfillment is a comprehensive logistics process management service for the B2B e-commerce market. Within InPost Fulfillment, traders can also benefit from InPost warehouse space, located alongside the InPost central sorting facility, cutting the dispatch time right down to the minimum; and automated order processing and their final picking and forwarding from the warehouse by a dedicated team.
Rafał Brzoska, President of InPost, explained: “By introducing this new service, we want to offer – under one roof – a new quality to the e-commerce industry: starting from warehousing, through packaging, up to instant delivery to the Paczkomat® parcel pick-up terminals or by InPost Courier service. We want to lift the burden from the e-commerce industry of having to deal with logistics issues and, by offering competitive prices, we are capable of offering as much as 10-30 percent lower operational costs by sharing resources and economies of scale. Thanks to our Fulfilment service, they can focus exclusively on developing their business, leaving the logistics to the InPost experts.”
P3 Piotrków is one of the largest warehouse parks in Central Poland. The park is located in Wola Bykowska, near Piotrków Trybunalski, at the intersection of the A1 motorway and E75 and E67 routes.
