C&W wins property management of two Warsaw offices from Deutsche AWM

Cushman & Wakefield has been appointed property manager of two major Warsaw office buildings by Deutsche Asset & Wealth Management – Green Corner (28,187 sqm GLA) located in the Wola district and Kopernik Office Buildings (22,673 sqm GLA) located in the Włochy district. C&W will focus on optimizing the cost of facilities’ operation and on increasing value of the properties. Both buildings are well recognized on the market and, within their category, they provide outstanding solutions for its tenants. C&W started management of the properties in January 2015. C&W will also continue to manage the landmark Focus Office (34,000 sqm) which has been under its care since 2011.

Aneta Rogowicz-Gała, Head of Property & Asset Management, Cushman & Wakefield, said, “Whilst we have been actively managing commercial property in the Polish market for the past 17 years, we have selectively grown our portfolio under management during the last 18 months to 630,000 sqm. The extension of our portfolio by further 50,860 sqm of office space follows the award of two substantial retail portfolios last year from Tristan Capital Partners and elbfonds Development.”

Charles Taylor, Managing Partner of Cushman & Wakefield, added, “We have made some key hires in our Property and Asset Management team over the last quarter including Dorota Chomuntowska, Piotr Zatorski and Olga Paczuska. Having transitioned the property management on Jantar Słupsk shopping center (45,000 sqm) back in November, the team is well placed to get started on Green Corner and Kopernik Office Buildings.”
