EuropaProperty announces short-list for 8th annual CEE Retail Real Estate Awards

Retailer of the Year semi-finalists are now in for the upcoming EuropaProperty CEE Retail Real Estate Awards representing the most outstanding and accomplished projects, companies, retailers and individuals throughout the region in 2015. The region’s most respected and prestigious awards celebration, which will be attended by some of the region’s leading firms and individuals, will take place on January 28th 2016, at the Intercontinental Hotel in Warsaw, Poland.

Craig Smith, publisher and founder of EuropaProperty, the leading commercial real estate media firm, which organises the CEE Retail Awards Gala & Forum, the CEE Investment Awards Gala & Forum and the SEE Real Estate Awards Gala & Forum as well as several other high-impact events and conferences throughout the region, commented, “Once again I am excited to welcome a sell-out crowd to our eighth annual Central and Eastern European Retail Real Estate Awards. It pleases me greatly that this year we have received a record number of nominations. The sponsors, attendees and judges are senior level European or Central European directors, which affirms the CEE Retail Awards as a true industry landmark event.”

“Retailer of the Year” awards will be given to retailers active throughout the region based on their market innovation, expansion, contribution to the market, market share, concept and design, and commercial success.

This year 28 projects from across the region have made the short-list and will compete for “Retail Project of the Year” awards in five different retail development categories. Projects are rated according to quality of design, building efficiency, quality of location, environmental concerns and commercial success.

“Company of the Year” awards will be presented to the leading developer, investor, bank, consultant/letting agent, retail leasing specialist, professional service provider, law firm, project management firm, property management firm, architectural firm and tax & financial adviser in Central and Eastern Europe for activities and accomplishments during 2015. Companies are judged on their overall market contribution, quality of customer services, market innovation, commercial success, leadership and market penetration.

Awards will also be given for “Overall Retailer of the Year” in addition to “Overall Professional of the Year.”

The semi-final results have been narrowed down, by an independent jury of judges, from a field of over 400 nominated companies and projects to determine the following semi-finalists:
