Linklaters acts as advisor to Echo Investment on the sale of Warsaw’s Q22

Invesco Real Estate fund has become the new owner of the Q22 tower, located in Warsaw, upon purchasing the property from Poland’s largest developer, Echo Investment. Linklaters provided comprehensive legal advice and support to the seller in all major legal aspects of the deal. The deal was valued at over PLN 1 billion net.

The acquisition of the state-of-the-art 155-metre office tower situated at the intersection of Aleja Jana Pawła II and ulica Grzybowska for over PLN 1 billion is another major investment in Warsaw made by the US-based Invesco Real Estate fund. The international law firm Linklaters has advised Echo Investment form the inception of the sale process. The legal advice covered all stages of the deal.

“The Linklaters Warsaw real estate team has been a powerhouse on the market for a number of years. The international team, integrated with the law firm’s global network, and its members’ wealth of experience in advising on cross-border deals offer a solid foundation for handling multi-stage deals, such as the sale of the Q22 tower,” said Artur Kulawski, managing partner at Linklaters Warsaw.
