NEPI to invest €40 million in Shopping City Satu Mare, Romania

New Europe Property Investments (NEPI), one of the largest commercial property investors and developers in the Romanian market, has announced plans to invest €40 million in the development of a new retail complex, Shopping City Satu Mare.

The new regional shopping center will be built on a 6 hectare land plot, occupying a gross leasable area of 28,000 sqm. Its tenant mix will include a vast number of retail and leisure facilities, including a hypermarket, a food court and a cinema. Further-more, the mall will also offer 1,000 parking spaces on two levels.

As announced by the investor, Shopping City Satu Mare is expected to open its doors to the public by the end 2018.

The project will be constructed according to the latest standards and will significantly enhance the existing retail offer in the Satu Mare area.
