Modesta facilitates the acquisition of a 13-hectare development site in Budapest

Modesta Real Estate advised Prologis, a global leader in logistics real estate, in the expansion of its portfolio with the acquisition of a 13-ha development site in the logistics market of Budapest, which is in high demand.

The newly acquired site is located directly opposite the already developed “Prologis Park Budapest-Sziget.” The new location offers development potential for two separate warehouses, each with 4 units and a total area of 60,000 sqm, for which all necessary building permits have already been obtained.

Located directly on the M0 ring road, the “Prologis Park Budapest-Sziget II” provides fast and efficient access to the M1, M5 and M7 motorways as well as to the Budapest International Airport.

“Prologis Park Budapest-Sziget II is located at a strategically excellent hub for distribution activities. Budapest, as well as the region around the capital, is Hungary’s most important logistics location. Thanks to the well-developed motorway network, the location has efficient access to the relevant markets within the country and throughout Central and Eastern Europe,” says Sebastian Scheufele, SIOR (Managing Partner, Modesta Real Estate) who is accompanying the transaction.
