The international online-store Wildberries has started sales in Slovakia. Customers can order goods with delivery at www.wildberries.sk. For the convenience of clients, the online store is available in Slovak and English languages.
Currently, more than 1.7 million SKU of products from 18,000 brands are available for ordering. Customers can buy women’s, men’s and children’s clothing, footwear, accessories and toys. The assortment will be expanded in the future at affordable prices.
“E-commerce is actively developing in the Slovak Republic and residents are open to online shopping. Wildberries will offer its new customers in Slovakia a wide range of products in various price categories. As a large online retailer, we cooperate with well-known international brands and small local entrepreneurs. In addition, Wildberries is ready for an active partnership with Slovak manufacturers, who in the future will have the opportunity to sell their products online,” said Vyacheslav Ivaschenko, Wildberries Business Development Director.
Wildberries will offer residents of Slovakia its branded online shopping format, which has already been loved by 27 million buyers in 6 countries (Poland, Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Armenia). Customers will be able to order goods at home through free courier delivery or receive them at a branded pick up point. At the ordering points, customers could be acquainted with the goods before buying, try on clothes and shoes using comfortable fitting booths with mirrors. If goods do not fit or do not like – the client could give them up free of charge.
The first pick up point in Slovakia was opened at Bratislava, Tomášikova 5724/7. The company plans to increase the number of pick up points in the country. Today courier delivery covers Bratislava and the territory 100 km from the country’s capital, but Wildberries plans to quickly expand the geography of customer service.
Within the country, Wildberries is also considering building its large distribution center, which will be one of the company’s most important logistics hubs in the European Union. The center could create 15,000 jobs in Slovakia and could invest about 200 million euros in the country’s economy.
Earlier, in January 2020, Wildberries launched sales in Poland. Within 5 months, the online retailer has opened 24 branded outlets for orders in 18 localities of the country. To date, Wildberries courier delivery covers the entire territory of Poland.
