Warsaw’s Kopernik Office Buildings complex has received a BREEAM In-Use certificate with “Very Good” ratings in both Asset Performance and Building Management. The audit, commissioned by Cushman & Wakefield, a global real estate services firm and the office park’s property manager, was conducted by Go4Energy.
The Kopernik Office Buildings complex comprises five buildings providing a total of over 22,000 sqm and connected to each other by a five-level car park with 765 parking spaces. It is located in Warsaw’s Włochy district. It enjoys an excellent location and quick access to both the Frederic Chopin International Airport (a ten-minute drive) and the city centre (an approximately seven-minute drive). The office complex features a remarkable façade of red Flemish bricks and red mortar joints that give the buildings a massive, industrial look.
Piotr Mokrzański, Senior Project Manager, BREEAM International Assessor, BREEAM In-Use Auditor, Go4Energy, said: “The Building Research Establishment appreciates the solutions in place in the Kopernik Office Buildings and has awarded the BREAM In-Use certificate with ‘Very Good’ ratings. The office complex boasts a number of electricity, water and heat saving solutions, and a friendly indoor working environment. All these features in combination with proactive and environment- and tenant-friendly property management make the Kopernik Office Buildings an exceptional complex on the Warsaw office map.”
Piotr Zatorski, Senior Property Manager, Asset Services, Cushman & Wakefield, said: “Last year we successfully upgraded the LED lighting system in common areas and we are now replacing traditional boilers with more efficient condensing counterparts. Receiving the BREEAM In-Use certificate with ‘Very Good’ rating is clear evidence that the property management solutions implemented by Cushman & Wakefield have a positive impact on the standard and quality of occupiers’ working environment.”
