On the top floor of the Parkview office building in Pujmanová street in Prague 4 a topping out ceremony was held to indicate reaching of the highest point of construction. The completion of the administrative complex of a total of 16,000 sqm lease space is scheduled for the second quarter of 2020. 30 percent of the building has already been leased. The first tenants include a co-working centre, Spaces, and a unique gastronomic concept, The PUB Pilsner Unique Bar. Skanska is currently engaged in intensive negotiations on the leasing out of the remaining space.
The growing Pankrác project of the developer Skanska, is called Parkview, and located in Pujmanové street in Prague 4, opposite the Central Park, Pankrác. The nine-floor building originates from the New York architectural studio, Richard Meier & Partners, and after its completion in the second quarter of 2020 it will offer almost 16,000 m2 of top-quality office space. A quarter of the building, i.e. almost 4,000 sqm, has already been leased by IWG for its co-working centre, Spaces. Also, a total of 500 sqm on the ground floor of Parkview was leased by operators of a franchise gastronomic concept, The PUB Pilsner Unique Bar.
Parkview – Flooded by Light
Parkview attracts attention by its white façade. Its clean, white surface is regularly broken up by balconies, positioned from the second to the eighth floor. They are not only an aesthetic element; they will be appreciated by the tenants of the individual floors for relaxation. Thanks to a U-shaped ground plan and the effectively-designed glazed façade, the Parkview offices are planned to enjoy a maximised access of natural light.
Parkview – Greenery and Views
As the name itself suggests, Parkview offers beautiful views of the Pankrác Central Park. The roof terrace will boast panoramic views of the entire city, the bar there will offer its visitors views of Prague Castle. The tenants will be able to enjoy nature not only outdoors and in the park, but also inside, in a recessed greenery in the middle of the atrium. Overhead a cloud of light will be suspended, which was designed for Skanska by artist Marek Číhal.
Parkview – Ecological and Innovative
Skanska is constructing Parkview so that the building could receive the highest environmental certification, LEED Platinum, for its efficient operation and minimum impact on the environment as well as the WELL certification, which guarantees high-quality and healthy working environment for tenants of the building.
Parkview is also designed as a smart building in which digitisation of its design and the construction process in the BIM system is to facilitate its subsequent operation. For the tenants the developer prepared a Connected by Skanska system, which will, through a specially-developed application, provide an efficient and easy access to the building, including a parking system, also incorporating all of the services provided within the building itself and its surroundings.
